1. booking/contract conclusion

Your personal booking (online booking) on our website is binding for you. The contract between you (hereinafter referred to as camp participant) and us (hereinafter referred to as organizer) is concluded with your booking (online booking) and with the acceptance of the terms and conditions. The Bachvolleycamp can only be booked online.

2. confirmation

After your booking you will receive an automatic reservation confirmation with the estimated invoice amount. After checking the availability of the camp places (when booking a camp where transfer and hotel room are offered, the availability must be clarified first), you will receive a personal written booking confirmation including invoice by e-mail.

3. payment (camp fee)

The camp fee is due within 30 days after the final booking confirmation via e-banking. The claim of the camp fee expires automatically without cancellation costs if the camp cannot be carried out due to Covid-19 (further explanations/details under point 10/11).

4. camp information

The information about the camp with any travel documents (when booking a camp in Mallorca) including the entry requirements contained therein (when booking a camp in Mallorca) will be sent to the camp participant by e-mail at least 7 days before the start of the camp. If, contrary to expectations, the camp participant does not receive the travel documents at least 7 days before the start of the camp, he/she must contact the organizer immediately.

5. prices and services

The scope of the contractual services results in principle from the service description of the camp. The prices and the services received for the corresponding beachvolleycamp can be seen on the beachvolleycamps.ch website. The contractual services will be confirmed to you in writing in your booking confirmation/invoice by e-mail after your booking. Additional agreements that change the scope of the contractual services require an express written confirmation.

Coaches: The training is carried out by professional players or qualified coaches. Due to scheduling commitments of the coaches, such as participation in competitions, tournaments, etc., we reserve the right to change the coaching teams in exceptional cases. The presence of the named players and coaches is therefore excluded from the contractually binding services.

6. price changes

The organizer reserves the right to increase the camp price for the following special reasons:

  • Subsequent price increase of transport companies, e.g. fuel surcharges
  • newly introduced or increased government levies or fees such as airport taxes
  • Exchange rate changes
  • Government-imposed price increases, e.g. value-added tax
7. cancellation|travel insurance

The booking of a beach camp or a course is binding . Due to illness or accident, the participant is generally not entitled to any refunds if he/she does not attend the camp. If the camp participant does not make use of all or part of the services included in the program, this does not result in a claim for reimbursement. The camp fee/course fee is due upon definitive implementation even if the participant does not appear on the camp/training day and thus does not make use of the services.

Insurance against possible cancellation costs is voluntary for all camp participants. However, the organizer explicitly recommends to take out such an insurance especially for the Bachvolleycamps outside of Switzerland (when booking flight, transfer and hotel). This insurance covers those costs that have to be paid despite the cancellation of a trip. Covered are mostly only cancellations due to serious illness or due to an accident (with a doctor's certificate), depending on the general insurance conditions.

8. special costs

Any special costs incurred as a result of or in connection with changes to the intended camp/travel itinerary for reasons within the camp participant's control during the camp/travel (e.g. costs arising from the late arrival of the camper at the starting point of the trip, or for an early return, costs for return transportation, hospital or hotel stays, including for accompanying persons, as a result of indisposition, illness or accident, or from failure to follow the instructions of the trip leader, any costs for additional days due to an involuntary or unforeseen extension of the stay as a result of natural disasters, force majeure, strikes, wars, crises) shall be borne by the camp participant and shall be paid immediately to the respective claimant as they arise.

9. withdrawal by the organizer

The organizer can withdraw from the contract up to one week before the start of the camp for the following reasons

  • if the specified minimum number of participants is not reached
  • if, after exhausting all possibilities, it is unreasonable for the organizer to hold the event because the costs incurred by him in the event of holding the event would mean exceeding the economic sacrifice limit in relation to the event. However, the agent has no right of withdrawal if he is responsible for the circumstances leading to this (e.g. calculation errors) or if he cannot prove these circumstances. The declaration of withdrawal will be forwarded to the camp participant without delay.

In the event of withdrawal by the organizer, the customer is entitled to demand participation in another event of at least equal value, if the organizer is able to offer such an event from its range without additional cost for the camp participant. The camp participant must assert this right immediately after the organizer's declaration of withdrawal. If the camp participant does not exercise his/her right to participate in an equivalent event, he/she will be refunded the paid participation fee without delay.

10. conduct of the camp/course in times of Covid-19.

We rely on the recommendations and the decision of the FOPH and our Federal Council regarding Covid-19. If the Federal Council approves the implementation of smaller events and there are no prohibitions, the camp/course will definitely take place.

11. cancellation of the beach camp/course due to Covid-19

If the beach camp/course has to be cancelled by the organizer due to Covid-19 (we rely on the directives of the FOPH and the Federal Council), the participant does not have to pay the fee for the beach camp/course for the time being. If it is possible, an equivalent offer will be made by the organizer. If this is not possible, the claim expires automatically without cancellation costs.

12. risk in sports accidents

You practice your sport at your own risk. We are not liable in any case for accidents and physical damage resulting from the practice of beach volleyball.

13. liability in case of theft and loss

No liability can be accepted for valuables, luggage or cash left during a camp or during a trip/stay. Also in case of theft and accidents any liability is declined. In case of a trip, the luggage must be addressed with a label. In case of unsuitable or bad packing of the luggage we decline any liability.

14. liability in case of damage

The organizer is not liable for damages caused by camp participants. In the event of intentional or grossly negligent damage to camp inventory (posts, nets, balls, training inventory), hotel inventory, hotel facilities, etc., or in the event of damaging behavior, the respective perpetrators will be immediately expelled from the respective location without prior warning. The costs incurred as a result will be borne by the causer(s) themselves.

15. photo, film and data rights

With the registration, the camp participants declare their consent that pictures and film recordings can be made and distributed by the organizer as well as presented in public (incl. Internet) - also for the purpose of own or third party advertising.

16. travel formalities

For the Bachvolleycamps in Switzerland no travel document is necessary. For the camps in Mallorca, Swiss citizens need a valid identity card or passport. The camp participant is personally responsible for the valid travel documents.

The participant and his/her legal guardian declare with the registration their consent that pictures and film recordings of the participant are made and distributed by the organizer as well as publicly presented (incl. Internet) - also for purposes of own or third party advertising.

11 Jurisdiction and Applicable Law
